Craig Allender
Craig specializes in investigating and designing major commercial, institutional, and residential buildings for waterproofing issues related to roofs, exterior walls, windows, plaza areas, and below-grade spaces. He consults with architects, contractors, and building owners to analyze and repair water intrusion problems in existing buildings and to prevent water intrusion problems in new construction. He has an active role in operations at SGH, managing a team of technical consultants and leading our office in the San Francisco Bay Area. He supervises daily project-related activities, trains engineers on the complexities of building enclosure systems and design, and mentors direct reports on career paths related to project management and technical capabilities. Craig has presented to several professional associations on condensation, code compliance, and above- and below-grade waterproofing systems, and has published insights on building enclosure system transitions in Walls & Ceilings magazine.
