Why Alternative Means and Methods Requests?

Innovative designs push our industry forward, but sometimes the code doesn’t align with our plans. As a fire protection engineer, I often use alternative means and methods requests (AMMRs) to pursue innovation while demonstrating that a design meets the intent of the code.
