Years of Service
In 2025, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) recognized more than 100 employees who reached service milestones ranging from five to fifty years—a reflection of a culture built on learning, growth, and a long-term investment in our people. To mark the occasion, we launched an internal and external “Years of Service” campaign in conjunction with our Annual Service Awards program to celebrate and reinforce SGH’s employer brand.
At the center of the campaign were two short films honoring the fifty-year careers of Peter Nelson and Mehdi Zarghamee. Knowing it was meaningful to the SGH community, we wished to pay tribute to these incredible accomplishments. Produced by our Marketing team, the videos feature reflections from colleagues, mentees, and alumni, highlighting not just longevity, but the transfer of knowledge, professional curiosity, friendship, and mentorship that define SGH’s practice. Unveiled at a ceremony at our headquarters, with Peter and Mehdi’s family present, the films created a shared, joyful moment of recognition and connection.
To engage the broader audience of service award recipients, we developed a firmwide survey capturing personal reflections from employees celebrating five to forty-five years. These insights informed a series of digital graphics and social media posts, enabling scalable storytelling across platforms.
The campaign generated strong internal engagement and extended reach across SGH’s digital channels. More importantly, it reinforced that long careers are not incidental at SGH—they are cultivated. By pairing personal stories with firmwide participation, the campaign honored individual contributions while underscoring the continuity that shapes our future.
