Mike Mudlock joined Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) in 1999 and is a member of SGH’s Structural Engineering group. He previously worked in SGH’s Structural Mechanics and Infrastructure group. Mr. Mudlock has investigated, analyzed, and designed various types of structures. He has served as a project manager for a number of SGH’s nuclear design and investigation projects at the Idaho National Laboratory and at commercial nuclear power plants. His work has involved seismic soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis, structural design, onsite engineering support of new high-hazard concrete structures and steel-braced-frame structures, and evaluation and upgrade of reinforced concrete, concrete masonry, structural steel, and pre-engineered metal building structures, systems, and components (SSCs).
