Why We Should Care About Climate Change

The Carbon Task Group of the Structural Engineering Institute’s Sustainability Committee has spent years studying the ways structural materials and systems affect climate change. To inform structural engineers about the impacts of structural materials on the climate so they can help reduce harmful greenhouse gases, the committee will release its latest technical report in November, "Structural Materials and Global Climate: A Primer on Carbon Emissions for Structural Engineers."
