For years, the health care industry has tried to steer patients away from hospitals and towards other outpatient facilities. However, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, we realize that there may not be enough hospital beds if things get bad. One possible solution moving forward is to adapt unused, existing buildings for new purposes to deliver care.
