Simpson Gumpertz & Heger to Share Expertise and Exhibit at ASCE Pipelines Conference

Several members of Simpson Gumpertz & Heger’s (SGH) Engineering Mechanics and Infrastructure team will present papers and host an exhibit booth at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 2017 Pipelines Conference on 6–9 August in Phoenix, AZ. The conference provides a forum for pipeline engineers and practitioners to share experiences and discuss the state of the industry. The conference sessions will highlight the theme “Reliability and Resiliency through Sustainable Design and Construction,” and cover several tracks, including construction and rehabilitation, condition assessment, planning and design, and surveying and geomatics.

“We are honored to join our peers across the industry to discuss best practices in pipeline engineering and share our experiences in the design, investigation, and rehabilitation of vital pipeline infrastructure,” said Murat Engindeniz, SGH Senior Project Manager and a member of the 2017 conference technical committee. Murat will also moderate the conference’s first session on rehabilitation.

SGH staff will be on hand at booth 604 throughout the conference to meet with attendees and answer questions. The team will also present several papers at the conference’s technical sessions, including the following:
