TIMBER+ is a recurring forum of timber design and construction professionals to share knowledge and discuss advancing the mass timber building industry in the Northeast United States.

Tom S. Chung, FAIA | Principal | Leers Weinzapfel Associates
Tom Chung is a Principal with Leers Weinzapfel Associates and a leader in mass timber design. His projects include the Olver Design Building at UMass Amherst and Adohi Hall at University of Arkansas, the largest CLT building in the United States at its completion. Tom serves on the Board of Directors at WoodWorks, and frequently presents at AIA CEU workshops and teaches graduate studios on mass timber.
Jennifer Hardy, AIA | Senior Associate | Payette
Jennifer Hardy is a Senior Associate at Payette and a 2020 AIA Young Architect Award recipient. She is currently leading a project for Penn State College of Engineering with a hybrid mass timber and steel structure and exploring ways to reduce operational and embodied carbon to enhance broader design goals.
Katherine Faulkner, FAIA | Founding Principal | WestFaulkner
Katherine Faulkner is founding principal of WestFaulkner and has more than twenty-five years of architectural experience. Before WestFaulkner, Katie was a Vice President of Design for Katerra, focusing on a mid-rise mass timber housing prototype. Previously, she was a Founding Principal of the firm NADAAA and an Associate Principal at Shepley Bulfinch.
