Kansas City Viaduct
Kansas City, MO
An accident caused a gasoline truck to fall from a major artery bridge to a point where two sections of the bridge cross and burst into flames. The intense heat of the fire severely damaged the steel and concrete pillars, the steel beams and girders, and the concrete deck of the bridges. SGH investigated the damage on behalf of an insurance company. We advised our client on issues concerning the extent of damage, repair needs and methods, and costs for repairs.
