SGH was the technical consultant to Prudential Insurance Company for the facade recladding and overcladding of their Chicago offices. The existing facade of the forty-two-story building experienced limestone spalling and air infiltration due to degradation of window gaskets. SGH monitored installation of the overclad system on the ten-story portion of the building and developed alternative repair methods when the overcladding project was cancelled on the high-rise portion.
