Abstract: Upgrades of United States energy codes recently attracted attention to the finicky "continuity" details between air and water barriers in facade construction. A typical construction detail on a new project that contains rain-screen cladding and curtain walls, window and/or a low roof level will ultimately require transition membranes to provide this newly required continuity.
