Senior Project Manager
Cory Brett joined Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) in 2006 and has more than fifteen years of experience in structural engineering, which includes designing foundations and retaining walls, designing transportation-related structures (e.g., bridges, tunnels, and sign support structures) and designing, investigating, and rehabilitating buildings of all types. Mr. Brett has also performed specialized work related to monitoring and predicting vibrations in buildings, including assessing structural damage and human comfort. He has been involved in design projects from a conceptual phase through fabrication and construction phases, and has worked closely with owners and contractors to resolve issues that arise during construction. Cory is also a member of the Post-Tensioning Institute Committee DC-80, for repair and rehabilitation of post-tensioned structures.
