Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Scholarship

SGH established a scholarship in celebration of the firm’s 60th anniversary. We want to encourage and recognize undergraduate students who strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives, including their engineering studies. Students at California Polytechnic Institute - San Luis Obispo, Lehigh University, Northeastern University, Pennsylvania State University, University of California, Berkeley, University of California, San Diego, and University of Texas at Austin are eligible to apply.

Georgia Institute of Technology Buchberg Scholar Award and Internship

SGH staff member Brandon Buchberg, P.E. held both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Georgia Tech. In November 2013, Brandon unexpectedly passed away and SGH established this scholarship and internship opportunity in his memory.

Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section (BSCES) - Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Scholarship

SGH established this scholarship with BSCES to encourage undergraduate college students who strive for excellence and aspire to a career in civil engineering.

Lehigh University M. Eng. In Structures – Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Scholarship

SGH is a part of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), which has funded seven scholarships since Lehigh began offering the professional master’s degree in 2008. IAC firms reflect the depth and breadth of the structural engineering profession, including structural engineers, forensic engineers, construction managers, fabricators, and software developers. This scholarship is open to any M.Eng. Structural Engineering Lehigh University graduate student. No application necessary.
