Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Announces 2017 Senior Promotions

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH®) is pleased to announce the firm’s recent promotions to Associate Principal, Principal, and Senior Principal.

  Christine Diosdado | Associate Principal
Christine has experience as a lead investigator and project manager on complex construction defect cases. Her investigation experience encompasses a wide variety of building types – including high-rise, residential, institutional, commercial, and medical buildings – and also includes other types of project, such as recent examples involving artificial turf football fields and solar array panel supports.
  Emily R. Hopps | Associate Principal
Emily leads SGH’s flooring practice area. She has experience in design, investigation, evaluation, restoration, commissioning, and construction administration of historic and contemporary buildings. She specializes in building enclosure systems – including foundations, wall systems, windows, and roofing – and is experienced in design, failure investigation, and repair of a variety of flooring finishes.

  Eric K. Olson | Associate Principal
Eric specializes in evaluating and investigating building enclosure systems, including windows, curtain walls, masonry, exterior insulation finish system (EIFS) and stucco veneer, roofing, and plaza and below-grade waterproofing. He is also experienced in rehabilitation design for these systems and design consulting related to new building construction and existing building rehabilitation.
  Francesco J. Spagna | Associate Principal
Francesco is experienced in building enclosure performance investigations, condition assessments, construction litigation support, building enclosure repair design and construction administration, and design peer reviews. He has also participated in the investigation and remedial design of curtain walls, windows, roofing, EIFS and stucco claddings, brick and stone veneer, plaza waterproofing, and below-grade waterproofing.
