CEO Glenn Bell Receives Penn State Alumni Society Distinguished Service Award

The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State) Engineering Alumni Society honored Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) CEO Glenn Bell with its 2016 Distinguished Service Award on 27 April 2016. The award – chosen from a pool of nominated Penn State alumni, friends, and family – recognizes Glenn’s many contributions to the Penn State College of Engineering. The Alumni Society recognized Glenn at its annual awards gala in State College, Pennsylvania.

Glenn is a frequent guest lecturer and capstone project juror at the Penn State College of Engineering, and served on the school’s Architectural Engineering Industrial-Professional Advisory Committee from 2000 to 2014. He was named an Honorary Centennial Fellow by the Penn State Architectural Engineering Department in 2010, and is helping the department develop a new Master’s degree in Building Envelope Engineering. Glenn’s father Harry, a Penn State alumnus, received the same award in 1997.
